Charles Daughtery
Charles William "Dink" Daugherty, 84, departed this life Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Chase Samaritan Assisted Living Center.
He was a native of Black Mountain and a son of the late Charlie Vance and Nancy Mae Nabors Daugherty. He was a former employee of Moore's General Hospital and Beacon Manufacturing before he became disabled.
Surviving family include cousins, Harold "Butch" Gragg, Sr. (Kathryn), Phillip Logan Crawford, Sr. (Sharon), Harold M. Gragg, Jr., H. Mavis Gragg, H. Monica Gragg, and Phillip Crawford, Jr.; other cousins, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, in the Chapel of Ray & Allen Funeral Service with Rev. James Lytle officiating.
