Charlotte Fant Maybin of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Asheville passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at her home after a short illness.
Charlotte was a 1976 graduate of Asheville High School and attended NC A&T State University in Greensboro, NC.
She was employed by the Fort Campbell Credit Union in Clarksville, TN
Those left to cherish her memories include her mother, Thomasine Fant Smith of Asheville, NC; father, Charlie Miller of Irvington, NJ; former husband Michael Maybin, Sr. of Atlanta, Ga; two sons, Michael Maybin, Jr. (Diana) of the United States Air Force, St. Louis, MO and Marcus Maybin of Louisville, KY (Ladawn); two grandchildren, Jalen Maybin of Clarksville, TN and Tylas Maybin of St. Louis, MO; brother, Charles Leon Fant of Asheville; sisters, Gwen F. Hill (Leroy) and Cynthia L. Smith of Charlotte; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be 12 noon, Tuesday, June 14, 2011, Hill Street Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Keith Ogden officiating.
