Floyd Carpenter
Floyd Jackson "Buck" Carpenter, 61, of 901 Lennox Park Dr., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011. He was a native of Wadesboro and a son of the late Floyd J. Carpenter, Sr. and Sara Hamilton.
He was employed as a truck driver and his CB handles were Stump Jumper and Smokey Choker.
He was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Carpenter and brother, Chester.
Surviving family include his wife, Pauline Carrington Carpenter; daughter, Janet Climbingbear (Enoch); brothers, Billy Poplin (Carol) and Ray Alexander (Lynn); sisters, Debbie Pressley (Billy) and Faye Faircloth (Rick); special daughter, Makala Underwood; his beloved pets, Princess and Penny; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews; mother-in-law, Wynette Carrington (Robert); other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be 12 noon, Saturday in the Chapel of Ray & Allen Funeral service with Minister Carolyn Myles officiating. A private burial will be at a later date.
