Mary Juanita Foster
Mary Juanita Foster, 70 of 64 Pine Grove Ave. died, December 7, 2011.
Mary, fondly known by family as "Ma/Ma-Lou", was born July 4, 1941 in Asheville, NC to the late William R. and Sophie McMillian Foster.
Mary attended Asheville City Schools and graduated from Stephens - Lee High School Class of 1959.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, twelve brothers and sisters, a grandson, Vonte Wilson; granddaughter, Kelly Danielle Foster.
Those left to cherish her memories include sons, Wallace Foster (Betty) and Howard Foster (Janice) of Asheville; daughters, Sophie Poore (Roosevelt) of Greer, SC and Lisa Foster of Asheville; sister, Cathey Durant (Roy) of Asheville; brothers, Donald Foster of Alexandria, VA and Daniel Foster of Asheville; grandchildren, Torrey Foster (Gina), Natasha Foster, Keisha Foster, Kevin Foster (Meredith)
Latika Poore, Eugene Foster, Dekembe Black ; uncles, James and John McMillian of South Carolina; adopted grandchildren, James, Tiffany and Shatara Shuler, Roshunda Foster and Erice Eddings; many nieces and nephews; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 1p.m. , Nazareth First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Charles R. Mosley officiating.
The family will receive friends at 64 Pine Grove Ave.
